Our weekend together will have times of worship, fun, workshops, hangs, creativity, prayer, and opportunities to connect with other youth leaders from all over the Motu.

Saturday

  • Workshop options:

    • Understanding intermediates - Neville Bartley (Main Auditorium)

    • Social activists + our faith - Geoffrey + Felicia (Harbourview Lounge)

    • Talk about a dirty word: Evangelism - Jethro Day (Dining room 2)

  • Lunch in the Dining Hall

  • Workshop options:

    • The journey out of depression - Belinda + Matt Stott (Main Auditorium)

    • Blurred lines + big calls: youth ministry ethics - Zara Maslin (Dining room 2)

  • Workshop options:

    • Burnout: why does it happen, what can I do about it? - Hazel Nugent (Main Auditorium)

    • Youth Leader Panel (Harbourview Lounge)

  • Free time, sponsor stalls, cafe, creative spaces. Grab your togs, the pool is open!

  • The annual North vs South football match on the field. Who will take the glory and bragging rights?

  • Grab some kai in the dining room

  • Cafe, sponsor stalls, creative spaces.

  • Worship and teaching

  • Night prayer - The prayer room

    Evening activity - Singstar, Harbourview Lounge at 9ish. Solo performances and group singalongs, fun challenges and friendly competition.

Sunday

  • Start the day with a feed in the dining room, 8-9am

  • Workshop options:

    • Responding to violence, injustice and genocidal theology - Cole Martin + Dr Lamma (Main Auditorium)

    • A seat at the table for everyone - Jess Johnson (Harbourview Lounge)

    • The lost art of stillness - Marzi Van der Mark (Bellbird Heights)

  • Clean and pack up accomodation spaces. Gear needs to be out of cabins by 10am.

  • Our final session together will include worship, teaching from Zara Maslin and a final camp Eucharist, led by Bishop Steve Maina.

  • Lunch in the Dining Hall

  • The vans heading to the aiport will leave from outside Living Springs at 1.30pm.

  • And thats a wrap for the Abbey 2026!
